Nelson Carmenates is a Florida-licensed attorney and a certified CPA in Texas. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from the University of Houston Central Campus and earned his Juris Doctor from Florida International University in 2006.
With over 18 years of experience practicing law in South Florida, Nelson has successfully assisted clients in diverse areas, including Business Law, Real Estate Law, Family Law, Immigration, Wills and Trusts, Bankruptcy, and Probate. He is also fluent in Spanish allowing him to serve a broader range of clients.
As a consultant and adviser with the South Florida Taxes (SFL Taxes) team, Nelson brings his legal expertise to help clients navigate the complexities of tax filing. While working as a CPA, he specialized in audits, helps clients with offers in compromise, and business formation and transactions, always prioritizing client education and support.
